I have been a teacher in the further and higher education sector dating back thirteen years, delivering counselling courses at Certificate and Diploma level at Warwickshire College in Leamington and Rugby until 2012. I have also written and delivered OCN courses in Assertiveness training for the college.
Since that time I have operated as a freelance Trainer, creating bespoke courses for local businesses, focussing on training and developing staff in using counselling skills and raising workplace stress awareness. I have also offered workshops to local charities exploring the use of creative tools in counselling practice.
I have also worked in conjunction with Mapleleaf Counselling and Training (located in Solihull) since April 2016 delivering CPCAB counselling courses
I possess current, full membership with the Society for Education and Training and hold full QTLS status with them.
I would be happy to take enquiries about specific training requirements you may have and create and deliver bespoke learning experiences or individual workshops to meet your organisational requirement.
I can also offer guidance and support relating to coursework and essay writing for students who are studying CPCAB Counselling courses

Jan has been a great teacher, with a warm and bubbly demeanour she made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. I would absolutely recommend Jan as a trainer, her vast experience in the field contributes to the learning experience and her can do, supportive approach empowered me to be the best I could be“.
